Happy To Say Goodbye 2025

Updated: Jan 9

2025 was the hardest year of my life.

In February we lost my sister-in-law then in May my mother-in-law passed away.

Six weeks apart. We were shattered. For months Tim and I had to navigate life in the deepest grief, trying to figure out how to just function each day. The heartache and grief were hard enough. But the legal stuff you have to deal with after a loss is beyond exhausting. And doing it for two people made it twice as hard.

Every tragedy in my life, (and there's been plenty), I have learned to look for the blessings and the lessons. Although this year was full of pain and heartache, it was also full of so much love and gratitude. We have become so much closer to Tim's family. We spend a lot of time with many of them now. We have also learned to do the best you can to not have regrets. Tell people how you feel, spend time with loved ones, LIVE LIFE!

Extreme grief can do one of two things to a couple, pull you closer or tear you apart. I am beyond grateful that Tim and I created an unbreakable bond. It's easy to shut down and want to hide in grief. But we didn't allow that to happen. We were able to recognize when the other needed support. Sometimes that meant long talks. Sometimes it meant just sitting in silence and holding each other.

The reason I'm sharing such a deep personal experience on my business blog is because as a small family owned business, this is a huge part of our business. Reflecting on the past year for the business has to include what happened in our personal lives. Our lives effect our business and our business effects our lives.

In the beginning of 2025 I set a huge goal. I missed that goal by a pretty big amount. But as I reflect on the year I am very proud of what we did accomplish. We still had huge growth and we have really honed in on little details that have big impact. One of the biggest changes that I am the most excited about is Tim joining me more and being more involved. We are such an amazing team and I believe doing this business together will only bring good things. That's the biggest blessing I got out of the tragedies. Bringing us closer opened us up for deeper conversations and him admitting he wants to be involved and me setting aside my control and seeing that I don't have to do this alone to prove to myself that I can be successful on my own.

See, that's kind of what sparked this business. Which I never really admitted to myself even. I needed to see that I could be successful on my own. Prior to this business I had worked for him in businesses he started before me. And although I know I helped them be what they were, I never fully felt like I did it. I wanted to have my own thing that I can help contribute to our household. Looking back at the past 4 years, I see that I have done it. And I am really good at what I do. But, just like me coming into his businesses and helping make them successful, he can do the same with "my" business. So from here on out you will hear me saying "our business" and you will hear Tim's name more and see him at most of the upcoming events.

One of the other big changes coming this year is a new name! As much as I have loved the name The Sage Faerie it limits my customer base. In the future I want to be able to add a men's line (men can use all of our products already). I also know The Sage Faerie doesn't sound like a serious company. We believe this name change will help us to grow and expand our customer base.

New products are coming this year too! First new release will be Relax & Restore Magnesium Cream, Unscented. It's the same formula as our Sleep Well Foot Cream without the lavender essential oil. Sleep Well Foot Cream is also getting a new name. It will be called Relax & Restore Magnesium Cream, Lavender. The only change with the formula is the source of magnesium. (see this blog for details www.tsf-store.com/post/magnesium-is-one-of-the-most-critical-minerals-for-overall-health) I am also planning to make both options available in a lotion. Not everyone likes the thick cream. Release date TBD.

Many people have been asking for body/room sprays. Those will be released within the next few weeks. They will match the body care scents we currently have. Including the re-released scent, Love Vanilla. Vanilla scents are a big trend right now. Love Vanilla will be available starting in February.

A new product coming that I am really excited about is our bio-microneedling resurfacing mask. It's a needle-free skin rejuvenation treatment that uses microscopic, natural sponge spicules (tiny bio-needles) from freshwater sponges to stimulate collagen and cell turnover, offering results similar to traditional microneedling but without needles, pain, bleeding, or downtime, by creating microchannels that promote rapid skin renewal. I'm still in the testing stages but it shouldn't be long!

The final new product on the list, for now, is Revitalize Lotion. This lotion will be for skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis and more. It will have the same essential oil blend as our Revitalize Serum, but it will be in a lotion that will make it easier for full body application.

I'm really looking forward to this new year with many new beginnings! Thank you for being on this journey with me.

My hobby became a business because of my valued followers like you. It's very important to me to know what people want. Please feel free to reach out to me and share what products you would love to see. If you have used any TSF products I would love to hear your experience. The good and the bad. These products are made for YOU. So if they are not working for you I want to know.
