This face wash is amazing for anyone with sensitive skin, acne and skin conditions. However, it can be used for all skin types.
I have told many people how much I LOVE our Cleansing Oil and that since its release I would never use a foaming wash again. I lied! As much as I still love our cleansing oil and use it daily I love this face wash.
For my skin, it's not suitable for daily use. I do use it occasionally. I use it at night if I have worn makeup and most importantly when I get those pesky hormonal breakouts.
I have had several people email me to tell me how amazed they were that it helped clear up their skin, quickly. People who have had issues with acne for years. The best part about it, it's not like the creams you get from the dermatologist. It doesn't burn or dry your skin out. It simply cleans your pores on a deep level. It can also help to naturally balance the oils in your skin.
The highly porous nature of activated charcoal allows it to bind with and absorb dirt, toxins, sweat, and other pollutants from the skin's surface and within pores. By drawing out impurities and excess oil from clogged pores, activated charcoal can help reduce the appearance of blackheads and prevent new breakouts from forming. It effectively absorbs excess sebum (oil), making it a beneficial ingredient for people with oily skin. Activated charcoal can help gently exfoliate the skin by binding to and removing dead skin cells, revealing healthier skin underneath. Through deep cleansing and exfoliation, it can lead to clearer, smoother, and more evenly toned skin. Activated charcoal's anti-inflammatory properties can help to soothe irritated skin. While particularly beneficial for oily and acne-prone skin, it can be a great addition to skincare routines for dry, sensitive, and combination skin as well as skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis.
The charcoal and castor oil in this face wash can be tricky to rinse off with just water. I suggest using a wash cloth to rinse it off otherwise it can sting eyes if not rinsed properly.
