Absolutely yes! I'll admit, for years I was not consistent with using this product. I used it when I first made it (previously named Scalp & Hair Oil Treatment) but then got out of the habit. Which is silly since I bleach my hair and want it healthier!
When I started using it the first benefit I noticed was how my hair wasn't oily between shampoos. I used to have to wash my hair daily because my scalp would get oily. Using this 2-3 times a week I started to notice I could go 2-3 days before I noticed my scalp being oily.
I also noticed my strands were stronger and I had less breakage. Over the past couple of years I have gone through phases where I use it then get out of habit, then fry my hair and start using it again. Isn't it funny how we do that? Instead of maintaining a good habit we wait until things get bad before we get back into good habits.
Recently I decided to add castor oil to the formula. It has been a game changer! I cannot get over how healthy my hair is right now. I am back in the habit of using it every other shampoo. I try to remember to put it on at night so I can leave it on for hours. But I don't always remember to do that. So I put it on first thing in the morning and leave it as long as I can before I shower.
The carrier oils in our Scalp & Hair Serum are absolute powerhouse oils for healing scalp irritation, balancing oils and strengthening hair shafts. But the real healing power is in the essential oil blend.
Carrot seed essential oil can benefit your scalp and hair by nourishing hair follicles, combating fungal issues, and improving overall strand health. When massaged into the scalp, it can help boost blood flow to hair follicles, which delivers more nutrients and oxygen for healthier growth.
Lavender essential oil can benefit the scalp and hair by promoting hair growth, soothing irritation, fighting microbes, and adding shine. Its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties contribute to a healthier environment for hair to thrive. It can help balance sebum production, making it beneficial for both overly oily and excessively dry scalps.
Clary sage essential oil offers several potential benefits for the scalp and hair, primarily through its ability to balance natural oils, fight dandruff, and support hair growth. Its soothing and conditioning properties can lead to healthier, more vibrant hair. It can help boost blood flow to the hair follicles. This increased circulation delivers more nutrients and oxygen, which supports overall scalp health. By creating a healthy scalp environment, it helps prevent thinning and encourages stronger, thicker strands.
Rosemary essential oil can stimulate hair growth, improve circulation, and soothe scalp irritation, making it a popular natural remedy for overall scalp and hair health. Helps boost blood flow to the scalp. This increased circulation delivers more oxygen and nutrients to hair follicles, which are essential for hair growth.
As you can see, there are a lot of ingredients that work to help strengthen hair and heal the scalp. If you dye your hair, use hair products and heat on your hair, you need to use this serum!
